Decentralization

Roadmap to World Peace

When humans began social groups around 12,000 BC they were in small tribes.  Everyone knew everybody.  You could trust your neighbor, since survival depended on it.  Jobs were delegated to appropriate people in your tribe and all survived.  Around 10,000 BC agriculture was developed, tribes got together and formed communities which in turn formed civilizations.  As the population grew it was hard for people to remember individuals and keep track of work (Dunbar’s number).   The solution to these problems was government through centralization.  For many centuries; with the exception of the Greek and Roman republic, humans have lived from a top down approach.  Monarchy to empires was the normal way for society to function.

A game changing technology was then created around 1440 known as the printing press.  This invention allowed information to be distributed around villages.  It freed society from information of a centralized state and church.  It was this invention that helped catapult the American Revolution.  The founding fathers of America knew that a decentralized government would be the ideal solution for the newly founded country.  They created three branches of government; Legislative, Executive, and Judicial, from this came about the most prosperous country in human history.  Fast forward to 1990 we have the birth of the internet.  This allowed for decentralized communication.  Starting around 2009, another great technology came about known as Bitcoin.

Bitcoin helped start a new revolution in technology creating blockchain; a new computer decentralization system on the back of cryptography.  This gave rise to an ecosystem whereby people can trust one another without any formal vetting procedures.  Soon there may be digital governments where humans can interact with one another.

These digital governments can have your choice of law be it USA, English, or your local laws of your choosing along with choice of adjudicator and enforcer.  There is also decentralized production of material and energy along with decentralized currency and contract systems.
